Where I've been
So, some of you have been commenting on my absence from this space both in terms of presence (recently) and content (over the last few months). As far as the content goes, I don't feel up to addressing that at the moment. As far as presence, that's simple. I've been spending 72+ hours a week for the last two and a half weeks on my new job as a door-to-door salesman, slinging Kirby Vacuum Cleaners. It's a crazy job; it has fantastic highs and pretty hard-hitting lows. So far it's been positive. I have some serious questions I'm going to be asking myself the next week or so now that the initial rush has worn off about whether I'll be sticking it out or not. I'm currently leaning towards sticking it out. I'd post details about the job, but I, as most of the rest of us, learned from Bob's example to never post about work on a site not protected by passwords, so y'all are out of luck. Some of the stories so far are pretty good too. Anyway, that's where I am. I spent most of today relaxing, re-charging, gorging myself with Jim and Scott, and catching up on the web. That's all the news fit to print for the moment.

Damn
Four more years. I can't believe this country sometimes. Not "I can't believe that there were more Bush people than Kerry people" because I've known that for quite sometime, just a more general sense of disappointment.
